Join us for an exclusive, overnight members-only getaway at the historic Audrey Edna Cabin in the Santa Cruz Mountains. Nestled on protected open space property, this rustic retreat is the perfect opportunity to unplug, connect, and restore.
Trip Details
- Dates & Timing: Check-in is at 1:00 PM on June 27 | Check-out is at 12:00 PM the following day.
- The Vibe: Rustic, communal, and off-the-grid. There is cell reception, but no internet.
Meeting Spot & Hike-In Directions
To reach this hidden gem, we will be doing a short, scenic hike into the redwood forest.
- Parking Location: Main parking lot at Sam McDonald County Park (13435 Pescadero Creek Road, Loma Mar, CA 94021).
- Parking Fee: $6 per day (paid at the park kiosk).
- The Hike In: A 1.25-mile hike along Towne Fire Road with a slight incline to the cabin gate.
🚗 Alternative Access: If you have physical limitations or prefer not to do the hike, please let us know in advance. We will be allow a limited number of guests to be dropped off directly at the cabin.
Accommodations: What to Expect
The Audrey Edna Cabin is a cozy, fully-equipped facility, but it operates on a "Leave No Trace" community model—meaning we take care of it together!
- Sleeping Arrangements: The cabin has two bedrooms (bunk beds and a double bed) plus fold-out couches and sleeping pads in the living room. (Pads are provided, but you must bring your own sleeping bag and pillow).
- Bathrooms: Two bathrooms with toilets and sinks. Note: There are no showers.
- Kitchen: Fully equipped with a fridge, stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker, pots, pans, and utensils.
What to Bring
- Bedding: Sleeping bag or sheets/blankets, plus your own pillow.
- Towels: Bring a bathroom hand towel and a kitchen dish towel.
- Gear: Flashlight or headlamp, layers for chilly mountain evenings, and sturdy hiking shoes.
- Toiletries: Personal toiletries and sunscreen.
- Signed Waiver: Please complete the required DocuSign waiver sent to your email before departure.
