Baylands Birding Walk

Join Saved By Nature and Special Guest Miguel Marquez aka The Bearded Ranger with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service for a guided tour of Ravenswood Open Space Preserve. We'll also learn about the other Ravenswood which is a part of the Don Edwards San Francisco Bay National Wildlife Refuge. Stroll along the flat and easy Bay Trail encountering marshland vegetation for the endangered Ridgway’s rail and salt marsh harvest mouse. Visit two observation platforms and use spotting scopes and binoculars to observe beautiful migratory and resident shorebirds including sandpipers, dowitchers, avocets and white pelicans. Lunch will be provided by SBN.
