California Newts and Coast Redwoods
Join Saved By Nature for a hike through the majestic redwood forest. Located in the fog belt of the Santa Cruz Mountains, Sanborn County Park is nicknamed the rainforest. It has a unique climate, with some mornings dripping so much water from the leaves that intercept the fog it feels and sounds like it’s raining. A perfect habitat for creatures such as California newts and banana slugs.
