Hispanic Heritage Month

We are honored to announce Saved By Nature’s and Latino Outdoors' 3rd Annual Hispanic Heritage Celebration in collaboration with partnering organizations! We celebrate national Hispanic Heritage Month (September 15 to October 15) to recognize the achievements and contributions of Hispanic American champions who have inspired others to achieve success. The theme for 2022 is "Unidos: Inclusivity for a Stronger Nation.” Both the theme and poster reinforce the need to ensure diverse voices and perspectives are welcomed in decision-making processes, thereby helping to build stronger communities and a stronger Nation. United with GreenLatinos, Peninsula Open Space Trust, Santa Clara Valley Open Space Authority, U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, Santa Clara Valley Audubon Society, Bay Area Ridge Trail, and REI. This unique event features exhibitor tables hosted by our partners, free tacos, beans, rice, refreshments, socialization and an optional gentle 1-mile hike to a scenic overlook. Everyone is welcome.
