Bay to Bay Hike -- Warm Temperate Rainforest
Join Saved By Nature and the National Park Service at Muir Woods National Monument! We'll have the opportunity to engage with NPS park staff and participate in a Community Science Program within one of our most beloved national monuments. We'll then go on a 3.0-mile guided nature hike led by Richard Tejeda on the Redwood Creek Trail to learn more about this warm temperate rainforest biome. There are multiple coastal redwood groves to enjoy and if we're lucky we may spot a juvenile Coho salmon. Parking passes will be emailed to all registrants. This is part of an annual series of 12 hikes where we visit a different biome each month.
