Come learn about the secrets of old growth redwoods, their relationship with fire and the wildlife that depend on the forest to thrive. In partnership with Parks California and California State Parks we’ll discuss the planning process and reimagining of California’s first State and National Park - Big Basin Redwoods State Park.

Lunch: Sandwich, chips and drink will be provided.

  • Layers + comfortable clothing (check the weather before leaving)
  • Snacks (we’ll have extra in case you forget)
  • Water Bottle
  • Hat and/or sunscreen
  • Camera

Transportation: We are providing a bus from San Jose. Plan to park your car at Blossom Hill Light Rail Station at 8:45 AM. The bus will depart at 9:00 AM sharp, and will have you back by 3:00 pm. Address: 605 Blossom Hill Rd, San Jose, CA 95123

Bathrooms: Yes, there are bathrooms at the parking lots.
