Alviso Adobe Field Trip: Exploring Heritage & Nature Together
Join Saved By Nature for a meaningful summer outing at the Alviso Adobe Historical Building, where cultural heritage and outdoor exploration meet! This hands-on experience welcomes 50 guests to journey through immersive stations that celebrate California history, connection to nature, and shared community values. Through small-group rotations, participants will explore heritage exhibits, engage in nature-based activities, and discover traditional practices—all while building new memories and relationships in an inclusive, welcoming space.
👨👩👧👦 All are welcome! Activities are designed with ages 6+ in mind for the best experience.

8:30 AM — If the Adobe Alviso parking lot is full, additional parking is available along Piedmont Rd and Alviso Adobe Court.
Event Schedule
- 8:30 AM — Arrival, coffee, snacks & social time
- 9:00–11:05 AM — Rotating group activities in three smaller groups (~16–17 people each)
- 11:05–11:15 AM — Rest break & informal reflection
- 11:15 AM — Lunch served
- 12:00 PM — Event concludes
🌀 Group Activity Overview
Each group will rotate through five immersive stations:
- 🏡 Inside Tours (Front & Back), including interpretation from docent
- 🌳 Outside Tour of the Adobe grounds
- 🌿 Outdoor Nature-Based Activities
- 🧺 Washboard Laundry
Everyone gets a full experience across history, nature, and cultural storytelling—offering space to explore, learn, and connect.
