Learn How to Fish!
Bring out the crew to fish the jetties of the San Francisco Bay, California’s largest estuary. We'll be fishing for leopard shark and bat rays. Learn about the specific species you may catch, proper knots for attaching hooks and swivels to a pole, and how to properly bait a fishing hook. All skill levels are welcome!
Lunch: Provided by Saved By Nature
Equipment: Fishing pole, hooks, swivels, weights, and bait are provided to all participants.
Parking fee: Parking is free.
Items to bring:
- Layers + comfortable clothing (check the weather before leaving)
- Snacks (we’ll have extra in case you forget)
- Water Bottle (we’ll have water)
- Hat and/or sunscreen
- Camera
- Folding chairs for a comfortable place to sit
