Bring the family or friends out to the pier and enjoy stunning views of the Golden Gate Bridge at Golden Gate National Recreation Area, Presidio of San Francisco! Guided leadership, food and drinks, crab nets, and bait will be provided at no cost. Participants will have the option to crab or to participate in a guided hike over the Golden Gate Bridge to explore the location on foot, with an emphasis on self-discovery, inquiry, sensory experiences, and mindfulness practices. Beginning crabbers will be provided with basic instruction on how to get started. We'll cover what you need to know: safety and ethics, baiting, casting a net, retrieving, species identification, regulations, and conservation.
When you register, you will have an option of participating in crabbing or going on the hike over the Golden Gate Bridge! ONLY SELECT ONE.
